Synopsis
Each episode focuses on the specific events in the life of Inés Andrade (Mercedes Morán), Dolores Elliot (Nancy Duplaa) and Mía Basualdo (Andrea Pietra), all of whom provide trace elements in the conflicts encompassing the whole story. In turn, there is a court case that opens and closes in each program, sometimes acting as a framework and other times as a mirror of the main character’s conflicts. Always reinforcing and mingling with the main plot. Socias is not just a program about court cases. The legal field is the profession that joins them and the framework that embodies their lives, which is much more than just work. The legal sphere is not detached from reality: on the contrary, it feeds off of the messy and disorganized justice, which is not necessarily fair and is full of contradictions. It’s an urban story unfolding in offices, bars, restaurants, courts, nightclubs, gyms… To sum up, in the heart of the city where the presence of technology (cell phones, text messages, computers, answering machines) are part of the account. The story delves into the gestures that reflect the moods of the characters to reach deep into their soul, what they feel, what they hide and what they don’t talk about.
