  • 1990

    Grupo Clarin, acquires LS 85 Canal 13 and gives birth to Artear, one of the most important broadcast signals in the country.

  • 1990

    El Trece is the only station to have an Eletronic Arts Center in the country for productions and station ID.

  • 1991

    El Trece begins to broadcast through cable operators to the rest of the country

  • 1993

    Artear News Division launches TN, an all news 24 hour signal.

  • 1993

    Marks the beginning of the yearly telethons “Un Sol para Los Ninos”, whose donations are destined for Unicef.

  • 1994

    August 1st Volver is launched, the cable channel with Argentine audiovisual contents from all times.

  • 1994

    El Trece is the first Argentine channel to produce a national program live from the red carpet of the Oscars.

  • 1994

    El Trece begins its regular broadcast in SAP sound (during the Oscars ceremony) and Stereo (with the live Pink Floyd show in London via satellite of the Division Bell tour).

  • 1995

    Artear becomes the first station to sign agreements to produce national films: No te Mueras sin decirme a dónde vas; Caballos Salvajes; Comodines; El Faro; Despabílate amor; among many other blockbusters.

    The cable signal Magazine is launched, it offers a wide range of content: films, series, entertainment, etc.

  • 1995

    The indie signal Metro is launched it offers general interest, politics and economy content.

  • 1999

    On Dec. 31st Artear broadcast for 26 hours the special “Millenium Day” a mega production covering different cities around the world and in Argentina from places like the Iguazu Falls, Perito Moreno Glacier and as far as Ushuaia ushering in the year 2000, and it is for the very first time entirely broadcast in HD.

    Artear partners up with Pol-ka, a production company totally dedicated to series.

  • 2000

    On June 16th El Trece is the first station nationwide to screen an HD film; "El Regalo Prometido".

  • 2000

    Artear together with Buena Vista (Disney) join the leader in film productions Patagonik.

  • 2000

    Artear expands to the rest of the country acquiring the leader in the market in Cordoba channel El Doce.

  • 2000

    Acquires Canal Siete in Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires.

  • 2006

    Artear joins Ideas del Sur, the major production company which specializes in entertainment.

  • 2007

    Artear acquires media in Bariloche: Canal Seis, the sole broadcast station; the digital paper Bariloche 2000, and two major radio stations.

  • 2008

    Launching of Quiero Música en mi Idioma, this signal only broadcast Latino music.

  • 2009

    Launch of El Trece Internacional, the satellite signal, which covers Latin America in its entirety.

  • 2009

    Develops the International Department for signal and content distribution for El Trece Internacional and Quiero Música en mi Idioma, in the region.

  • 2011

    El Trece begins to broadcast in digital format

  • 2011

    Launching of El Trece HD and TN in HD.

  • 2012

    TN (Todo Noticias) debuts new graphics.

  • 2013

    Artear sells its minority participation in Ideas del Sur S.A.
